ADHD Support - Combined ADHD Coaching and CBT

I have completed a Diploma in ADHD coaching to use alongside my existing CBT skills and experience, along with a range of further ADHD focused CPD.

How it might feel

You might feel like your brain is constantly full, jumping from thought to thought, forgetting tasks, or struggling to get things done, even when they matter to you. You may find it hard to focus, or hard to stop focusing. Time slips away, motivation comes in bursts, and keeping on top of daily tasks can feel exhausting.

You may have spent years thinking, “I’m lazy,” “I always mess things up,” or “Why can’t I just do the thing like other people can?” You might feel overwhelmed by small things, prone to emotional outbursts, or highly sensitive to rejection or criticism — and then beat yourself up afterwards.

How we’ll work together

My approach combines CBT and ADHD coaching. That means we’ll look at both practical strategies and the deeper beliefs that may be holding you back. You’ll learn tools for managing time, attention, motivation and emotional regulation but we’ll also explore the impact ADHD has had on your identity, confidence and wellbeing.

We might look at perfectionism, shame, sensory overload, burnout, people-pleasing or masking. We’ll work collaboratively to make sense of your patterns, experiment with new strategies, and build self-trust. You’ll have accountability, support, and a safe space.

A different operating system

Imagine trying to run Windows software on a Mac—it’s not that the Mac is broken, it’s just running a different system, and so it needs different tools. ADHD brains often work in non-linear, intuitive, or fast-switching ways. Traditional time management, organisation, or productivity strategies (designed for “neurotypical” brains) can feel clunky or frustrating, not because you're doing it wrong, but because they weren't built with your wiring in mind.

ADHD coaching is about finding the tools and strategies that do work for your brain. It's not about forcing yourself to operate like everyone else—it's about supporting your natural strengths, reducing overwhelm, and creating systems that feel sustainable and realistic.
